WRITE BY THE RIVER

Next Workshop: Wednesday 8th October (11:00am – 3:30pm)

Write by the River is a new writing workshop which takes place in the barn at Heron Corn Mill!

The workshops are for both beginners and creative writers working in all genres!

The tutored sessions will be led by local writer Marian McCraith, who has taught creative writing to community groups and undergraduates for 30 years, and currently teaches for the Open University. Her short stories have been published in literary magazines and broadcast on BBC Radio 4, and her plays and monologues have been performed at theatres and venues around the country.

Writers are welcome to bring their own ideas or works in progress, and the Mill archive will be available to attendees looking for inspiration.

As these are all day sessions a packed lunch will be required.
