Audrey Steeley
Projects Development Officer  Audrey has been manager at the Heron Corn Mill since March 2004, working full-time since September 2004. Previously she was Forest and Community Projects Manager with Grizedale Arts, based in Grizedale Forest. Audrey has considerable experience of working with artists and community groups, and has founded two rural community theatre groups, Uncommon Theatre and Off the Ground, promoting 'creativity with a purpose' and developing issue-based theatre in rural areas. In 2003 she was awareded a Winston Churchill Fellowship to research rural community theatre and rural myth in North California USA, in particular East Bay, and working on community arts volunteer programmes. |
